wet after a walk to nursery, the station and work all in the rain. Feeling oddly refreshed from the experience
first webex webinar experience not as bad as expected
it seems I’ll be living in keynote this week, there are worse places, I suppose.
we moved internal offices whilst I was away, adjusting to the new space and getting back into the work groove for 4 days, then off to xtech.
quiet largely offline day yesterday, gardening and play with the little boy, lunch with my parents and the last of the unpacking
XTech talk outline taking shape, another try at sleep now.
completely can’t sleep, 2 hour nap this afternoon has thrown my jetlag completely, working on xtech talk now.
I’m fairly convinced I cracked a rib in San Francisco, whilst sober. I’m still sore from Tuesday night, boo. Only my second broken bone =)
lovely day with my little boy and his extended family. Two year old birthdays with sfo-lhr jet lag are hard work though.

heading to SFO to go to the lovely SF moma shop for presents, then check in for VS20

packing to head home, could really do with another day or two here to sort some things out, but can’t wait to be home too.

feeling a bit unwell, not brilliant the night before my talk. Have had one beer, but small dinner and lots of coffee, I’m sure I’ll be fine.

now have had pancakes, obtained a decent length ethernet cable 14’ and am continuing work on my talk.
breakfast finally, very hungry now, heading down to marriott sf restaurant for pancakes
flights booked for xtech, flying ryanair due to availability, they are still an awful experience, money grabbing for every last thing.
awake in San Francisco, listening to last night’s music splurge and catching up with people in the UK
lovely night out with Blaine and Maureen et al, then a couple of hours music shopping in the Virgin shop, awesome.
failing to manage to stay up until midnight, even with a bail full of new music to play with, maybe the mathcore would’ve been a good idea
coffee then moo/flickr/blurb party I think, definitely coffee first though
Landed at sfo and had a good flight, no one sat in front of me. Headed to the Marriott to check in and see who is around, after immigration.
Onboard tubular bell again and headed for sfo, packed flight and i’m in the middle of a row of four. Still here comes the fizz :)
At heathrow and have got an upgrade yay. Now waiting to board.

Long slow drive to sussex, settled in for ensuing chaos with 11 people including 3 children, fun.
Off to sussex for the weekend for family birthday, then straight to LHR on Monday morning and off to SFO
